House Gallery is a family owned contemporary art space located in downtown Salt Lake City at 29 East 400 South between State and Main.

House Gallery began as an artspace in December of 2009 called "The Livingroom" in the Home of current Owner Julie Dunker.  When the Gallery moved downtown into the basement of the Peery Hotel the name changed from The Livingroom to House Gallery.  After residing in the basement of the Peery Hotel for five months, House Gallery moved to the former space of LLorenz Knife Shop who had occupied this location for over 100 years.  House Gallery is the second tenant of this small unique space on 400 south.  In August of 2011 Julie Dunker teamed up with her mother, artist Susan Dunker, to form an LLC.  And we then introduced Downtown Art Tours and hosted the first ever Salt Lake City Biennial and will feature the Western Art Exhibition in 2012.
